Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions
by customers. If you don't find your answer here, please
contact us.
-
Q: How much do I have to pay you?
A: Not one cent out of your pocket.
-
Q: Is your service really free?
A: No, we get paid part of what is collected from the debtor.
-
Q: My debtor has moved away. Can you still collect?
A: Usually we can find your debtor and collect.
-
Q: Do you need all of my court papers?
A: No. We just need the name of the court where you sued
and either the case number or case title (plaintiff name vs. defendant name)
-
Q: My debtor has filed bankruptcy. Doesn't that mean I won't get paid?
A: Not necessarily. Phone us right away with your case number. We can
quickly lookup the status of the bankruptcy case at no cost to you.
-
Q: My debtor is deceased. Can you still collect?
A: Sometimes. Phone us right away to see if this is possible for
your case.
-
Q: My debtor is in prison. Can you still collect?
A: Only if we can find where he stashed the loot.
-
Q: How do you find my debtor?
A: We use skip tracing techniques that we prefer to keep secret,
(your debtor might be reading this). We are allowed to access proprietary
databases that are used by law enforcement and investigative agencies.
This information is not available to the general public. One of our sources
was used by a government agency to locate terrorist suspects in Florida.
-
Q: Do I have to contact my debtor again?
A: No, we handle all communications with your debtor.
-
Q: Do I have to go to court again?
A: No, we handle all post-judgment court filings and appearances.
-
Q: Do you guarantee to collect my judgment?
A: No, but we promise to try hard and to use every means available.
Some debtors truly have no assets and have no income that can be
seized. If nothing can be collected, we lose our legal expenses
and the time and effort expended trying to collect. You risk nothing.
-
Q: I would like to keep trying to collect for myself. Can you assist me?
A: Sorry, but no. You are asking us to provide legal advice and that
would be against the law.
-
Q: Who else can help me collect my judgment?
A: You might try a collection agency but most collection agencies are
not willing to spend the time and resources necessary to effectively
enforce a judgment. Both attorneys and private investigators can collect
judgments. They will usually charge an advance fee and an hourly rate
even if they do not collect. We do not charge any upfront fee or any
hourly rate.
-
Q: My case has been a big headache. Can you do anything about that?
A: Knowing your debtor is being made to pay up might ease your pain
better than aspirin.
-
Q: Why did the cow jump over the moon?
A: The farmer's hands were a bit too cold this morning.
